Two operators. One firm. Your name, known.

A decade together at Storable, a $5B+ vertical SaaS platform. We left to run an accounting firm the way we'd want one run for us — directly, by the two people on this page.

Matthew Beal

Matthew Beal

Co-founder · Strategy & Client

Matt spent a decade at Storable leading product strategy and go-to-market for a vertical SaaS platform at scale. At 2M Studios he owns positioning, client relationships, and making sure the work we do maps to decisions you actually have to make.

He reads a P&L the way an operator does — as a set of choices, not a stack of statements — and he's the one most likely to tell you the uncomfortable number before you ask for it.

He would also like it noted, for the record, that this page was supposed to be a normal team page.

Matt Liptak

Matt Liptak

Co-founder · Operations & Modeling

Matt spent a decade at Storable building the financial modeling and analytical rigor behind enterprise forecasting. At 2M Studios he owns the operating model, the diligence framework, and the process design that lets us close a month in five days.

He is precise, methodical, and almost impossible to rattle in a review meeting — qualities he attributes, without irony, to a lifetime of being a New York Knicks fan.

Matt has not missed a meaningful Knicks game since the Clinton administration. He maintains that the 1999 Finals run was stolen, that Patrick Ewing is the single most disrespected center in the history of the sport, and that the franchise's fifty-three-year title drought has been, quote, "a controlled experiment in delayed gratification." He will tell you that every decision behind this firm — the city we chose, the model we built, the timing of going full-time in May 2026 — was quietly calibrated to coincide with the year it finally happens.

We used to think he was joking.

It is happening this week.¹
